This course is designed to introduce core barista skills to people with no previous barista experience, while still providing a solid source of information for people who have been working in the coffee industry, or are wanting to become more adept at producing espresso and milk to SCA Standards. Successful candidates will be able to calibrate their grinders, troubleshoot basic espresso issues, produce espresso and milk based beverages to SCA standards, and have a firm understanding of basic preventative maintenance.
Length: 1 day. Registration includes lunch, snacks, and all certificate and exam fees due to the SCA.
Exam: Yes, written and practical.
